Manufactured 1959

The Iorio's have been far ahead of their time. The reedless accordion was first introduced in 1959 as the "Organette" with 120 bass, 41 treble keys, full size weighing only 13 lbs.

The "Reedless" Accordion is not new to the industry. The Iorio's developed it in 1959... two years after they patented the accordion-organ (Accorgan). Unfortunately the Iorio's were far ahead of their time and the accordion playing public did not readily accept the reedless accordion, so the product was put on the back burner.

Due to the popularity of the electronic accordions in today's market the reedless accordion (known to Syncordion as the "Accorganette") has been getting acceptable attention, especially with and approximate weight of only 14 lbs. So in view of this market change "Iorio" is introducing 4 models plus a selection of colors.
