Reedless Accordions

The "reedless" accordion is not new to the
industry. The Iorio's developed it in 1959, two years
after they patented the accordion-organ (Accorgan).
Unfortunately, the Iorio's were far ahead of their
time and the accordion playing public did not readily accept the reedless accordion, so the project was put "on the
back burner." Due to the popularity of the electronic accordions in
today's market, the reedless accordion (known to Syncordion as the "Accorganette")
has been garnering attention, especially with an approximate weight of only 14
lbs.
